Farm and Outdoor Therapy and Discovery Area

An adaptive farm and outdoor discovery area featuring a variety of engaging environments and activities that foster exploration and connection with animals and nature. Operated by a full-time staff, augmented with STEP personnel, and integrated with school and therapy programs, this area includes:

Horseback Riding and Stables: Accessible riding programs with adaptive equipment and stables that accommodate individuals with mobility and developmental challenges, offering horse care and interaction opportunities.

Farm Animals: Goats assist with land management and chickens provide fresh eggs. Both offer meaningful opportunities for animal interaction, responsibility, and care.

Gardens and Orchards: Community and classroom garden spaces that support experiential learning and supply the Country Store with fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers. 

Nature Trail and Discovery Area: Accessible trails wind through the property, featuring educational stations about farm animals and nature, picnic areas for relaxation and socializing, shaded rest spots, and designated points for observing flora and fauna.
