What does the Community get out of this?

Employment Opportunities. The initial development of the Shamrock Acres Campus will create hundreds of jobs across design, trade, and construction fields, while also supporting local businesses—such as food trucks, restaurants, cafés, gas stations, print shops, trucking and delivery services, waste management services and other local services, businesses and vendors throughout the five-year construction period. Once operational, Shamrock Acres will employ approximately 300 permanent, full-time personnel in a variety of positions and professions, including healthcare, education, social services, human resources, finance, law, retail, food service, maintenance, and security.

Business Opportunities. The Shamrock campus provides opportunities for local businesses in the Main Street Business Area. Additionally, the infusion of approximately 250 residents, 300 employees, and numerous daytime campus visitors will boost existing off-site businesses and propel new economic growth.

Infrastructure and First Responder Support. Established agreements with the local municipality will sustain local Fire and EMS services, reinforce municipal DPW operations, and advance infrastructure improvements in water, sewer, and road systems.
